Activate the Box Mode via the toolbar:

Enter the first corner of the box: Make a left click with the mouse into the drawing area.
|
|
|
The mouse help windows always show the occupation of the mouse buttons.
|
|
A second left mouse click will complete the box. The box is added to the active layer.
There is always one active layer. This layer is marked in the layer toolbar.
|
|
|
Activate an other layer via the layer toolbar by a left mouse click.
|
|
|
Draw an other box.
|
|
|
Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
|
|
|
Press and hold the right mouse button to scroll.
|
|
Alternative:
There are Toolbuttons for scroll/zoom.
Scrolling/zooming can be done via the menu (zoom).
The menu can be reached via the menubar or
via a right click on the mouse in the drawing area.
Use the hotkeys: cursor for scrolling, + - for zoom.
